Imagine taking the helm of a luxury motoryacht or having a professional skipper navigate you through the clear turquoise waters of the Balearic Islands in Spain’s Mediterranean splendour, amid the blue skies, sunshine, white sandy beaches and lush green coast.Picture yourself cruising into small secluded bays and beaches, dropping the anchor, swimming and snorkelling to cool down from the warm air, then taking a spot of lunch either aboard the vessel or in one of the many, award-winning local restaurants and tapas bars – this has got to be the best relaxation possible!!
With probably the largest and youngest fleet of motor yachts available for charter in Menorca, we have something for everyone. Our motor yacht charter holidays can be tailored to meet the requirements of families, friends, corporate entertainment, honeymooners and all types of special occasions.
For that ultimate day-out experience, why not rent one of our motor yachts just for the day. Bask in the Mediterranean sun and the sparkling turquoise waters around Menorca. A full day lazing around, with sun-bleached sandy beaches, swimming and snorkelling surrounded by beautiful scenery. Why not add on our Champagne picnic with local gourmet food and drink for that luxury finishing touch. This surely will be a day to remember in absolute paradise.
What is Included ?
Fully cleaned and prepared Motor yacht, full tank of fresh water & fully fuelled. Motor yachts booked weekly with accommodation will include all bed linen including sheets & pillows, bath towels & hand towels, cups, plates, cutlery, glasses, a small tender dingy with outboard motor & oars – for visiting the shore, navigation aids including local charts & books, ships equipment instruction manuals and a mooring every night during the holiday in the port of Mahon, Menorca. For 2 or more consecutive weeks of charter, we will complete a full clean and linen change every week providing that the vessel is in the home port. Please note that not all boats carry a tender. Day charters of smaller yachts will vary, please check whilst booking for full inventories on offer
What about the Fuel ?
Every charter vessel is fully fuelled before the charter commences, we simply ask that you return the vessel fully fuelled before you disembark.
What are the Embarkation and Disembarkation times?
The embarkation time is usually 10:30 hours on the first day of the charter, however if the vessel can be prepared earlier, then we will endeavour to board you sooner. Disembarkation time is 18:30 hours on the final day of your charter, again if it is possible, we will let you remain on board until it is more convenient for you to leave. The yacht must be left clean and fully fuelled on disembarkation.
Safety Equipment ?
All of our vessel’s are fully inspected, licensed and insured for commercial use, and comply with both the UK and Local Spanish regulations, which require full safety equipment onboard to include:- advice labels, extra fire extinguishers, lifejackets with lights, binoculars, flares & signals, life raft, throwing line, plus much more – all for your total Peace of Mind.
What’s the Island of Menorca like.
As you can see from ‘The Island Guide’ page accessed from the ‘Lifestyle’ section of the menu, Menorca is the jewel of the Balearic islands, because of it’s perfect size, the calm laid-back lifestyle and spacious country living, combined with more bays and beaches than the rest of the Balearic Islands put together. Menorca, quite simply is an idyllic paradise getaway and only two hours flight time from the UK.
Is it a safe cruising area?
Menorca is very safe for motor cruising, there are only a couple of shallow rock formations / hazards which are clearly marked with the relevant signals and on the navigation charts, all of our friendly staff have local knowledge, and know the seas very well and are always on hand for advice and location recommendations.
Can I gain a qualification whilst on my Charter Holiday?
We are a fully affiliated RYA school and we have full RYA Training facilities here and can conduct various courses / qualifications during your charter holiday. Once the relevant level of competence has been achieved and the instructor is happy, you are free to self-drive the boat – under your newly acquired qualification.
Are there any Extras?
The only extras not included in the price, are whatever fuel is used and any mooring or berthing fees away from the home port of Mahon, Menorca and of course any additional requirements that we may arrange for you.
What about Provisions & Provisioning?
We can arrange any provisioning for the charter as long as we are made aware in advance and in plenty of time for us to be able to satisfy the request(s).
